Christmas Reindeer Cake Pops

Get baking with your friends and family this Christmas. These reindeer cake pops are the perfect festive sweet treat.
Ingredients - Cake
- 100g butter
- 100g caster sugar
- 100g self-raising flour
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
Ingredients - Buttercream
- 75g butter
- 150g icing sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1tbsp milk
- 200g milk chocolate
- Smarties! (red if want Rudolph)
- Packet of pretzels
Instructions
- Make the cake! Cream together butter and sugar. Then whisk in your eggs. Once combined, slowly fold in your flour and mix well.
- Whilst cooling it’s time to make the butter cream! Cream together your butter and sugar and add in your vanilla extract and milk if required to get a nice smooth consistency.
- Once your cake is cool crumble it into small crumbs and add your buttercream.
- Take sections of the cake mixture and roll it into balls and put on a lined tray.
- Push in a lolly stick and then pop into the fridge for a couple of hours to set.
- Once thoroughly chilled melt your chocolate into a bowl and take each of the cake pops and dip into chocolate allowing the excess to drip into a separate bowl.
- Then get creative! Add your smarties and pretzels and make up your Rudolph’s.
